Capita profits surge bolstered by UK government outsourcing

Gill Plimmer writes that:
Capita reported a 16 per cent surge in interim pre-tax profits to £238m bolstered by a deal to run partly privatised military bases throughout Britain.
The outsourcing company, which also runs the Ministry of Defence pension scheme and the police radio systems, said on Wednesday it had won £1.3bn of new contracts so far this year.
