Irish authorities reported that they have secured deals with many London-based banks and financial institutions to move some aspects of their operations to Dublin prior to Britain’s exit from the EU.
Kieran Donoghue, head of international financial services at Ireland’s Industrial Development Authority, told The Guardian that more than a dozen companies had agreed to make the move, and these included one American bank and a firm that could move as many as 1,000 jobs to Dublin.
